Magento Backend Developer (Remote)

Your Daily Routine and Responsibilities (Remote):

Backend Development Focus: You are decisively responsible for the conception, new development, and further development of our backend systems and e-commerce solutions.
Interface Management: You design and implement robust interfaces, especially for connecting ERP systems to our shop landscape.
Cross-System Solutions: You collaborate closely and independently with developers of adjacent/related systems to coordinate technical solutions and implement them successfully.
Conceptual Work: You contribute your conceptual strengths to the architecture of new modules and the optimization of existing processes.
Customer Communication: You act as the technical contact person for our German-speaking customers, independently clarifying requirements and discussing the progress of sub-projects via email, phone, or ticket system.

Technical Expertise: Several years of professional experience in backend development, Adobe Commerce, Magento, or similar platforms.
E-Commerce & ERP: Experience in connecting/integrating ERP systems is a major plus.
Conceptual Strength: You think analytically and across systems, and you can translate complex requirements into viable technical concepts.
Communication Skills: You are a strong communicator, service-oriented, and maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with customers.
Independence/Proactivity: You work proactively and in a structured manner, and you are happy to take responsibility for your areas of duty.
Language Skills: You possess business-fluent German language skills (at least C1 level) both written and spoken, to ensure smooth communication with our customers. Good English skills are an advantage.
